Baby Twinkle
For every stage, not just one

Her whole journey,
in one app.

Most apps pick a moment — a cycle tracker, or a pregnancy countdown, or a baby log — and leave you when it ends. Baby Twinkle follows the whole arc: trying to conceive, pregnancy, your baby's early years, and your own health running through all of it.

What it does

A complete companion, not a countdown

Two stages can run at once, because that is how life works — a mother with a toddler is often pregnant again. The app carries both instead of making you choose one and discarding the other's records.

🌸

Cycle & conceiving

Period and cycle tracking, the fertile window explained rather than just shaded, and what is worth checking before you start trying.

🤰

Pregnancy, week by week

Gestational age, trimesters and your due date worked out properly — calendar months, not thirty-day blocks. Kick counter, contraction timer, and a symptom log that asks rather than nags.

👶

Your baby's early years

The full Indian immunisation schedule from birth to sixteen, growth percentiles on WHO and IAP charts, feeding, and milestones from the MCP card.

💗

Her own health

Blood pressure, blood sugar with meal context, HbA1c and thyroid — recorded, banded against published thresholds, and read back to her in plain words.

🏥

Schemes & hospitals

Government maternity schemes with what they pay and how to claim, and a directory of hospitals with obstetrics near your PIN code.

📖

Reading worth the time

Articles written for Indian families and filtered to the stage you are actually in — not a feed of everything at once.

How it works

Four screens, and you are set up

These are real screens from the app, not mock-ups. It plays on its own — tap a step to jump to it.

  1. 1. Choose your language

English, Hindi and Malayalam today, with five more designed in. Change it whenever you like.

  2. 2. Tell it where you are

Trying to conceive, pregnant, or with a baby — or more than one at once. This decides what the app shows you.

  3. 3. Add your dates

Your last period or your due date, your baby's birthday. That is all it needs to work out the rest.

  4. 4. Everything in one place

Your week, what is due, what to log today, and reading picked for your stage.

Your data

Your pregnancy is not our data set

"We take privacy seriously" is not a description of anything. Here is the actual split, and you can check it — the app is open source.

Stays on your phone. Always.

  • Your dates, your due date, your cycle
  • Blood pressure, sugar and every other reading
  • Which vaccinations you have ticked off
  • Kick counts, contractions, symptoms
  • Photos, appointments and notes

On our server, only if you make an account

  • Your email address — something has to receive the sign-in code
  • The language you chose
  • Whether you have a subscription
  • Your app version, so a broken release can be spotted
  • Support messages you write to us, so we can answer them

The honest trade-off: because your records are only on your phone, there is no cloud backup. If you lose the phone, you lose them — which is why the app can export your whole health record as a PDF. We chose that side of the trade deliberately: data we do not hold cannot be breached or handed over.

Questions people ask

Do I need an account?

No. The app works fully without one — your dates, your records and the trackers are all on the device and need no sign-in. An account exists so that a subscription can follow you, and so we can reply if you write to support.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. That is a design requirement, not a nice-to-have. The vaccination schedule ships inside the app so you can read it in a clinic queue with no signal, and everything you record is stored on the phone.

Will it tell me the sex of my baby?

No, and it never will. The Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act 1994 makes that a criminal matter in India. The app does not ask, does not store it before birth, and no feature will be built that could be used that way.

Is the medical information reviewed?

The vaccination schedule is transcribed from the Government of India's Universal Immunization Programme and the IMA/IAP schedule, with every dose citing its source. It is not yet signed off by a paediatrician, and the app says so on the screen until it is. The same applies to the pregnancy symptom information.

What does the subscription pay for?

Deeper reading, the written assessment of your own readings, baby names and the health record export. What it never pays for: the vaccination tracker, the kick counter, your home dashboards, and any warning that you should see a doctor today. Those are free, and the database itself refuses to put a price on them.
